SunFest was jointly awarded the “Community Event of the Year” at Hume City Council’s 2016 Australia Day Awards Ceremony.
This year we plan to make SunFest even better.
Evolving from the iconic Sunbury Rock Festival in 1970s, SunFest is the largest, volunteer-run community festival in Victoria. It takes place from the evening of 18th through the 19th and 20th of March 2016. It is known for its Grand Street Parade, the Saturday night Fireworks Display and the ever-popular Walk/Fun Run on the Sunday. Last year’s festival attracted over 30,000 visitors.
This year, we are still seeking major corporate sponsors in many categories. Opportunities also remain for event and festival naming rights.

Become a Community Supporter
SunFest offers sponsorship opportunities that deliver valuable promotion of sponsors at various levels ranging upwards from $500. Opportunities remain in this category for 2016, so please tell us if you are interested.
With a view to broadening our support base, SunFest has recently introduced three new levels of support, our “community support packages”. The concept is simple; support SunFest and receive a quality sticker, colour dependant on your level of support. You can place it on your store front, near your counter, on a vehicle or, where ever you think it will be seen, so every customer knows you support SunFest.
